Voices from Israel Zvi Givati. Zvi was a retired Brigadier General in the IDF who had also devoted years as a prison Governor in Israel. A man who really cared about the prisoners under his charge and to such a degree that Zvi often went and talked to the prisoners in their cells, trying to bring comfort and hope to them. A most unusual man said Howard Conder. Howard interviewed Zvi many years ago but only recently finished producing this video and says that its such a moving account of a Jew who wanted so much to bring reconciliation between the Christian and the Jew. At first Zvi certainly had a hard time trying to persuade his fellow Israeli’s to listen to what Zvi was seeing in the changing attitudes of the Christians, in that they were seeing from scriptures that God had not rejected His People the Jews. Scriptures such as Romans Chapter 11 and these enlightened Christians wanted to help the Jews in various practical ways.
